It began on a summer evening in Toulouse, when the warm Mediterranean air deteriorated the delicate balance of a beautiful bottle of Beaujolais and overpowered its aromatics with alcohol.
For the first time, any wine could be served at its precise temperature, in any setting. Every wine expert consulted agreed – with control of the service temperature, wines reveal a new dimension where their aromatics and structure are in perfect harmony.
The first trial editions sold out within months. And that was just the beginning.
Following its initial prototype evaluations, LACARAF has continued to evolve through feedback from early users and wine professionals. Recent refinements include updated interface options, enhanced battery indicators, improved international charging compatibility, elevated packaging finishes, and further ergonomic enhancements designed to refine both presentation and service.
This ongoing development process reflects LACARAF’s commitment to precision, usability, and the continuous pursuit of excellence in wine service.
Today, LACARAF continues to develop this vision, bringing together engineering, design, and a deep understanding of wine aromatics to collectors and fine dining institutions around the world.
